We consider ourselves to be artists as well as craftsmen and produce everything to the highest specification. We also undertake private commissions for clients who require exclusive individual pieces, tailored to suit their requirements. Made to measure pieces can be created to suit different lifestyle, in woods and finishes. BESPOKE innovation exquisite handmade furniture was founded in 2005 in Bristol, England by artist Jon Newton. The company name means ‘one- off ideas’ and was created to help illustrate its identity in the furniture industry. Customers therefore know they are buying a unique, handmade, handcrafted, bespoke piece – and not a mass produced product. To ensure quality and authenticity, Jon designs all the handmade, handcrafted furniture himself. All the materials used are of the finest quality, using only timbers from sustainable sources. The bespoke, handmade, handcrafted, unique, furniture’s simple clean lines and beautiful grain pattern are aesthetically and proportionally pleasing and evoke a feeling of strength and quality. The stylish contemporary, bespoke, unique products are individually created using joinery methods made to last and are an expression and reflection of the artists personality. Our design process begins with what is best described as a flash of inspiration. This initial idea is roughly sketched and then developed into a more accurate drawing. Potential technical problems are considered and the methods of joinery and finish established. When we are happy with the design, timbers are carefully selected and work begins. We enjoy the journey of realising a design and the fulfilment gained from the finished product. The bespoke, handmade, handcrafted pieces of furniture are then there to be enjoyed and our customers appreciate they have an exclusive piece of bespoke, unique art. Once the products are completed they are offered to selected retailers, art and furniture galleries who may wish to exhibit them. As all our products are exclusive, one of a kind items we encourage clients to use our website and buy online. Our freestanding furniture gallery page allows direct purchase and clearly displays the products and their specifications in detail, as well as information of where they are on show. Customers can also purchase finished pieces through the retailers and bespoke furniture galleries on our site, with their chosen piece personally delivered to them, if they so wish. If clients require bespoke, handmade and handcrafted furniture in a particular timber, style or finish, they can request a private commission. This could be from a small side table, designed to match an existing interior, to an entire bespoke ‘themed interior’. We understand bespoke, handmade and handcrafted furniture is personal and important to individual lifestyles and therefore we endeavour to produce products to suit your every need. Samples of finished wood are available on request as well as design advice, especially if you require multiple pieces.
